I bought this brand of boot in the 70s and the only reason I just got rid of them is because the size of my feet changed. After trying several other brands of boots that were not quite satisfactory, I looked up the brand from my old boots and decided to take a chance they would be the same. The price was a pleasant surprise. My feet are short and wide but I ordered regular width and they fit fine. I use the boots for everything on my hobby farm and in all seasons and weather. No water leakage yet. I hope the company stays in business by the time I'm ready for another pair. My only suggestion/criticism would be better sole support, little more cushion, but not so much as to tighten the toe box. It's not easy for me to find a boot with a comfortable toe box.Good hikers bootThese don't even deserve one star. The top layer peeled off after the second wear and then proceeded to crack and the whole shoe came apart . They only lasted 6 months, having worn them perhaps under 20 times. Do not buy. When I first had issues both the seller and Amazon couldn't help.After ordering my size (5) on line they were too small. I returned them to a shop and after getting a bigger size. Which seemed ok in the shop. After wearing them they were still tight at the toes. A bit heavy as well.Not durable or fit for purpose. These were my second pair of walking boots from Mountain Warehouse and I decided to spend a bit more hoping the quality would be better than the last. Sadly not. After only four months of wear the waterproof covering started to bubble and peel and the sole detach from the boot. Sent back for a refund.Good seller unfortunately boots split and leak very quickly. Seller replaced straight away but second pair did exactly the same. Not ideal for wet weather or walking in wet grass when dog walking. Very comfortable and good fit thoughWalking, as with most new walking boots they need wearing in but so far they are comfortable.
