Bought these for my 13 year old daughter who plays serious club volleyball.She's only been wearing them about a week, but here's our 1st impression:Unlike most volleyball shoes, these are NOT too narrow, which was a lovely surprise! They were comfortable right out of the box! (My daughter has normal width feet. Most volleyball shoes only come narrow.)Her old shoes were Mizunos. In comparison, she noticed the gel in the Asics on the first day. She said her landings are SO much more softer now with the gel in the forefoot & rearfoot- which will be better on her joints & bones!She is an outside hitter. I have not heard feedback yet on how the shoe effects her jumps. I will update this review as soon as I hear.All in all, she is very happy with how the shoe fits, how it looks, and how it performs. Her only complaint was at the end of 12 hour day of volleyball, but to the shoes defense, they are still new, and 12 hours is a long time to be playing volleyball & having any shoes on your feet.Will update as time goes on.
